Hartlip is home to one of the country’s oldest primary schools which was founded in 1678 by an endowment from Mary Gibbon, whose second husband, Gabriel Salisbury was a Church of England vicar of Hartlip. Do take time to visit the Parish Church of St. Michael and All Angels, a tranquil and sacred building which dates back to the 11th century.

Take your time and enjoy your day, but do take care, these are private gardens and have not been designed for public access.

The event has been arranged to raise money for the parish church of St. Michael and All Angels, Hartlip. Donations are always welcome.

We thank the Methodist congregation of Hartlip for their enthusiastic participation in providing ploughman’s lunches.

A big thank you to all our participating gardens and the hard work that their owners have put in to ensuring that this Gardens Open Day 2019 is a success.

If you have any queries or comments, please email hartlipgardens@gmail.com

We hope to see you there. Enjoy!
